The Malabon City government announced on Saturday, Nov. 15, that 93,554 residents will receive grocery assistance as it begins the fifth tranche of the Malabon Ahon Blue Card (MABC) program.
According to the Public Information Office, the distribution will run from Nov. 15 to Jan. 15, 2026, and comes as several families continue to recover from the Catmon fire and the effects of Typhoon Uwan.
Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said the city remains committed to supporting affected households.
Ngunit sa ating pagkakapit-bisig, patuloy tayong umaahon (In recent days, several families faced disasters, the Catmon fire and the impact of Typhoon Uwan. But through unity, we continue to rise),” she said.
With Christmas approaching, we are starting the distribution of the fifth tranche of grocery assistance),” Sandoval added.

City Administrator Dr. Alexander Rosete said the initiative serves as the city’s early Christmas aid.
The MABC was launched in 2022, it aims to make the city’s social services more accessible and responsive to the needs of residents.
