Lanson Place rings in the holidays with festive tree lighting and celebration

The urban oasis that is Lanson Place at the Mall of Asia grounds had its own Christmas tree lighting and evening of entertainment on Nov. 13, 2025. Held at the third floor of the boutique hotel, the holiday event was attended by Pasay City Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, the special guest of honor, who offered an engaging speech that singled out Lanson Place for being one of the premier hotel destinations of her city.
Elizabeth “Betty” Sy is the president and chairman of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation, the hotel and convention arm of the SM Group. She personally led the festivities that evening. Demonstrating strong brotherly support for his “ate” was Hans Sy, chairman of the Executive Committee of SM Prime Holdings. He recounted how he had just come from the South and had been on the road for two hours.
