Grand Hyatt ushers in the holidays with dazzling Christmas tree lighting
The Grand Hyatt held its Christmas tree lighting on Nov. 11, 2025, and as could be expected, it was a “grand” affair that had hotel guests trooping in with wide smiles of appreciation and delight. Officially ushering in the holiday season, it was nice to see the support the hotel received from its sister companies and neighbors.
The Metrobank Chorale, the Manila Symphony Orchestra, and Ballet Philippines provided season-friendly entertainment. Ballet Philippines performed an excerpt from “Alice in Wonderland,” their upcoming Christmas presentation at the Theater at Solaire. The colorfully costumed dancers drew oohs and aahs of delighted approval. The Metrobank Chorale regaled guests in the main lobby with Christmas carols in both Filipino and English.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano joined Grand Hyatt general manager Roger Habermacher in lighting up the Christmas tree, which was greeted with cheers and applause. The Grand Hyatt is ready to add to the season’s cheer and merriment, whether through its prominent food and beverage outlets or its well-appointed accommodations.
