Sexagenarian gored to death by carabao in Negros Occidental

BACOLOD CITY – A 60-year-old man was gored to death by his carabao in Barangay Santol, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental, on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
Police said the victim left home to retrieve his carabao near a riverbank but failed to return.
His family looked for him and discovered his body with visible injuries and bloodstains on his clothes.
A medical examination revealed multiple wounds in the body consistent with punctures from a sharp or pointed object, suggesting he may have been gored by his carabao.
Authorities said the exact cause of death will be determined in a post-mortem examination.
