The Beauty Edit Gallery at Spatio is a curated hub of homegrown brands

The local beauty scene continues to thrive, delivering high-quality products made for Filipino skin and the country’s tropical climate. However, finding these homegrown brands in one place remains a challenge for shoppers who prefer testing makeup and skincare products in physical stores.
To address this, The Beauty Edit and Opus Mall’s Spatio joined forces to launch The Beauty Edit Gallery at Spatio.
Officially opened on November 5, 2025, and housed within Spatio—Robinsons Retail's pioneering concept store that champions local artistry and craftsmanship—the gallery offers an expert-led, experience-driven beauty space featuring some of the biggest names in the local beauty scene, including Pure Culture, Dala, and Ever Bilena.
In an interview with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle, Nicole Morales, founder of The Beauty Edit, said the gallery showcases 25 brands curated by beauty editors and experts, and will remain in Spatio until early 2026.
“There’s always been a gap in featuring all Filipino brands. It’s so happened that Spatio is very keen on that,” she said. “The brands featured here are all the brands that we use and, at the same time, we want to be a platform for the smaller brands.”

Nicole added that both the design and the lineup of brands will continue to evolve—a concept inspired by the ever-changing issues of a magazine.
“The Beauty Edit at Spatio aims to be an experience, envisioned as a gallery of beauty with purpose. A space where you can see, touch, and experience its very heart: discovery with intention–all featuring Filipino brands,” she said. “It’s also a milestone for Filipino beauty. For years, we’ve seen homegrown brands grow—innovating, elevating, and creating products that can stand proudly beside the world’s best. Through the F-Beauty (Filipino Beauty) gallery, we celebrate that movement: the creativity, integrity, and excellence that define our own beauty industry. For this round, we have many under-the-radar gems, indie innovators, niche trailblazers in Filipino Beauty truly worth discovering.”
Meanwhile, Martin de Leon, deputy general manager of Spatio, said that this collaboration redefines what beauty retail can look like.
“The Beauty Edit brings curation, storytelling, and sensorial discovery to the forefront, values that align perfectly with what Spatio stands for,” he said. “Together, we’re creating a space that feels elevated but also deeply personal, where each product, scent, and texture tells a story.”

Beyond skincare and makeup, the gallery also highlights the growing Filipino fragrance industry. Featured names include Tadhana Fragrances by Shale Albao, a limited-edition collection from GP Fragrances, and Bernadette Lim’s Scent Studio—a creative playground for personalized scents where shoppers can craft their own signature perfumes.

Visitors can also discover a range of independent and sustainable local brands such as Habitude, which blends botanicals, science, and mindfulness in its skincare; Russ & Rose, known for cruelty-free formulations made with Philippine botanicals and sea grapes to soothe and restore glow; and Sibol, which offers hair care in solid bars and climate-friendly formulas using local botanicals for stronger, shinier strands.
