CAVITE – An infant was found dead in the Ilang-ilang River in General Trias City on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A said a man living near the river was picking chili peppers in his backyard when he noticed a foul smell.
When he came closer to the river to check, he found the body of a male infant, without clothes, floating in the water.
The incident was immediately reported to the General Trias City Police Station.
Authorities are now conducting an investigation to identify the relatives of the infant.
