Chinabank slashes InstaPay fee to ₱5 for anniversary promo

As part of Chinabank’s 105th anniversary celebration, Chinabank recently launched its new “Take 5 this 105” promo, a limited-time offer that reduces the InstaPay inter-bank transfer fee from an already industry best ₱10.00 to just ₱5.00. The promotion, which runs from October 1 to December 31, 2025, is available exclusively to Chinabank account holders enrolled in the My CBC app and My CBC Online.

This initiative is designed to provide greater convenience and savings for customers who frequently use My CBC’s online fund transfer feature for person-to-person transfers. With the reduced fee, users can send money to other individual bank accounts and enjoy the immediate transfer functionality only Instapay offers for just ₱5.00 per transfer. Users of previous versions of Chinabank online banking apps can upgrade to the new My CBC App to enjoy this discount.

The best part is there is no limit to the number of transfers a customer can make daily, as long as the total amount does not exceed the daily cap of ₱250,000.
