Celebrating 25 years of innovation, Synology has unveiled the next phase of its mission to safeguard the world’s data. Building on its legacy of reliability and performance, the company is introducing a new portfolio of intelligent backup, enterprise-grade storage, and compliance-ready collaboration solutions designed to help organizations bolster cyber resilience and navigate the challenges of exponential data growth.
“Digital transformation continues to be the main driver of data growth,” said Thachawan Chinchanakarn, head of Southeast Asia at Synology. “This strong momentum is driving greater demand for advanced technology solutions,” added Thachawan.
With over 14 million active installations, 25 million protected endpoints, and 2 million connected cameras worldwide, Synology remains a trusted partner for businesses seeking to accelerate their digital transformation securely and efficiently.
"In the past five years, Synology has continuously earned the trust of organizations in the Philippines, achieving threefold revenue growth,” said Claire Huang, country manager for the Philippines at Synology. "With the addition of our new portfolio of solutions, customers in the Philippines now have a broader range of choices to meet their specific needs."
Earlier this year, Synology launched ActiveProtect, a purpose-built enterprise backup appliance that safeguards diverse workloads across multiple sites. With capacities ranging from 8TB to 140TB, the ActiveProtect lineup delivers immutable backups, air-gap capabilities, and regulatory compliance support, helping enterprises build a strong defense against evolving cyber threats.
Synology is also expanding its video surveillance ecosystem, offering a complete suite of cameras, storage, and management software for both on-premises and cloud deployments. The latest lineup features AI-powered video analytics capable of detecting people, vehicles, and intrusions in real time.
At the heart of this ecosystem is C2 Surveillance, Synology’s cloud-based management platform, which enables secure and flexible deployment across multiple locations. All components integrate seamlessly with Synology Systems, allowing organizations to achieve centralized monitoring and efficient management across sites.
Further strengthening its enterprise offering, Synology has launched the PAS7700, its first all-NVMe enterprise storage system. Designed for ultra-high performance, it delivers up to 2 million IOPS and 30 GBps throughput with sub-millisecond latency through a full end-to-end NVMe architecture.
Its active-active design ensures continuous availability, while robust encryption and enterprise-grade reliability make it ideal for mission-critical workloads that demand uncompromising performance and uptime.
Looking ahead, Synology plans to integrate AI-powered features into its Synology Office Suite, including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), semantic search, content summarization, and real-time translation. These capabilities will be powered by on-premises servers, ensuring that sensitive corporate data remains private while empowering teams with smarter, safer collaboration tools.
“Cyber resilience is now the top priority for IT leaders worldwide, essential for business continuity and enterprise competitiveness,” emphasized Thachawan. “Our portfolio demonstrates Synology’s commitment to delivering simple, scalable, and secure solutions that empower businesses to safeguard their most critical assets and thrive in the digital future.”
