Police seize P9.7-M shabu in Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY – Police here seized 1.4 kilos of suspected shabu valued at P9.7 million from 16 drug suspects in buy-bust operations from Nov. 3 to 9.
“These results show our steadfast commitment to cleanse our community from illegal drugs,” said Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) chief Police Col. Kim Legada on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
ICPO units with the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit-6 recovered shabu worth P5.78 million and the ICPO Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) confiscated P2.37 million. The ICPO with the Police Drug Enforcement Group seized P680,000.
Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines, ICPO spokesperson, said Police Station 8, Police Station 2 and Police Station 3 conducted significant anti-drug operations.
