Man shot dead in Trece Martires over resort income dispute

CAVITE – A man was shot dead at a resort in Trece Martires City following an alleged dispute over the establishment’s income on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
Trece Martires Component City Police Station (Trece Martires CCPS) told the Manila Bulletin that the victim, identified as alias Wel, was the resort owner's child. The suspect, identified as alias Rian, meanwhile, is their relative.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A said alias Wel went to the resort to confront alias Rian.
During the argument, alias Rian allegedly drew an unknown firearm and shot the victim in the forehead, resulting in his death.
The suspect fled, taking with him the firearm used in the crime.
Authorities have launched a follow-up operation to arrest the suspect, who is facing a murder charge.
