Danica Valdes-Lloren and Andee de Guzman-Que celebrate life, friendship, and fashion in one unforgettable night

Fresh off a two-week European sojourn, I landed in Manila on Oct. 4, 2025, and went straight to celebrate the fabulous double 40th of two of fashion PR’s brightest: Danica Valdes-Lloren, EVP of Visions and Expressions, and Andee de Guzman-Que, communications manager for the Philippines and Guam of Gucci.

The scene? Xception at The Biltmore in Legazpi Village, Makati. The vibe? A full-blown ‘80s and ‘90s funk-pop fever dream. DJs Xtina Superstar and Tolo Marvelous spun the kind of beats that made it impossible to stay seated—pure dance floor electricity from start to finish.

Among the crowd were Manila’s most stylish: Peewee Reyes-Isidro of Mega Magazine, Patrick Ty of VMan, Daryl Chang of Billboard, Tarrah Austria of Cartier, Jeanger Navarro Ponti of Louis Vuitton, Krisca Tadena of GCash, Brent Manalo and Jarren Garcia of “Pinoy Big Brother,” Elmer Lapena and Pawie Reyes of Saga Events, Andrew Naval and Shauna Popple of Nobblehouse, Nicole Morales of The Beauty Edit, Randz Manucom of Metro, Bianca Cruz of Dior, Lexie Chavez of Rustan’s, Pia Campos, Tim Yap, and Kylie Verzosa.
The Store Specialists Inc. ladies—Sunday Alcaraz, Cit Sioson, Sabrina Sy-–brought their signature sparkle on the dance floor, as did the always-glam Visions and Expressions team with Reena Donasco, Jenny Gapan, Tess Desamero, Meya Ramoso, and Laura Recto. Of course, Danica’s family was present as well: husband Struther, son Zimri, mom Cora Tagunicar, and aunt Tess Tagunicar.
Even with jet lag creeping in, it was a night to remember watching two stylish women toast to life, friendship, and forty in fabulous fashion.
