The House of Representatives leadership confirmed the resumption of plenary sessions on Tuesday, Nov. 11 following the one-day work suspension caused by Typhoon "Uwan".
"This is to officially notify all Members and Secretariat personnel that regular office operations and the plenary session will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025," read an advisory issued by House Secretary General Cheloy Garafil on Monday afternoon, Nov. 10.
"All concerned are hereby directed to report to work according to their respective schedules. The plenary session shall commence as previously scheduled," the advisory read.
Garafil, the highest-ranked civilian official in the House, continued, "Your cooperation and prompt attendance are highly appreciated."
Tuesday will be the first time that the 300--plus congressmen will reconvene after going on their "Undas" break in mid-October.
In an earlier advisory, Garafil, a lawyer, bared the suspension of work and plenary session on Monday as a precautionary measure against Uwan, which had a path leading to Luzon.
