The scheduled resumption of plenary sessions at the House of Representatives on Monday, Nov. 10 has been postponed due to Typhoon "Uwan".
This, after House Secretary General Cheloy Garafil issued an advisory on work suspension for Monday.
"In view of the anticipated inclement weather conditions due to Typhoon Uwan, work in the House of Representatives, including the plenary session, is hereby suspended on Monday, November 10, 2025," read the advisory released Sunday, Nov. 9.
"Offices performing essential functions are expected to ensure the continued delivery of critical services," it said.
Congressmen were supposed to reconvene Monday after their month-long "Undas" break.
"The House leadership remains steadfast in its commitment to safeguarding the health, safcty, and well-being of all employees," the advisory read.
"All personnel are advised to take necessary precautions, stay safe, and prepare essential supplies during this period," it added.
