Carrying a 12-point halftime lead, the Fighting Maroons turned up the heat in the third with a 27-16 flurry, punctuated by Achrissa Maw’s two free throws for a commanding 72-49 spread that proved insurmountable for the Lady Warriors.
The victory ended the State U’s eight straight losses to hold a 3-8 win-loss record, while UE sustained its 11th consecutive defeat.

Adamson tries to win all of its remaining matches to boost its playoff hopes alive as it fell to 6-5.
