Carnapping suspect arrested in Muntinlupa

The Muntinlupa police arrested on Friday, Nov. 7, a 23-year-old man tagged as the No. 2 most wanted person for carnapping.

The suspect, identified as alias Entong, a mechanic and resident of Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa, was nabbed at about 4:50 p.m. in Barangay Putatan by personnel from the Muntinlupa Police Warrant and Subpoena Unit.

He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued on Nov. 4 by Presiding Judge Lovella Demetria-Valdez of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 276 for carnapping. The court set the bail at P300,000.

After his arrest, he was brought to the Putatan Health Center for a routine medical examination before he was turned over to the Muntinlupa police’s custodial facility for documentation.

Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, acting district director of the Southern Police District, said, “This operation demonstrates SPD’s dedication to tracking down and apprehending wanted individuals who continue to evade the law. Our personnel’s vigilance and determination ensure that justice is served, and public safety is maintained.”
