CAVITE – A Mexican man was found injured near a creek in Tagaytay on Wednesday night, Nov. 5.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) identified the man as Jose, a 46-year-old Mexican citizen currently residing in Quezon City.
The Tagaytay Component City Police Station said they received a report from a concerned citizen about a foreigner seen loitering near a private property and appearing injured.
Responding officers immediately conducted a search in the area but initially failed to locate the individual.
After a follow-up search, the man was later found lying beside a creek near the same private property. Witnesses said he had accidentally fallen into the creek, resulting in his injuries.
The police immediately brought the wounded foreigner to Tagaytay Medical Hospital for treatment.
Authorities said the incident remains under investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the foreigner’s presence in the private property.
