Lineman electrocuted to death in Cebu

A lineman repairing power lines damaged by typhoon “Tino” in Cebu province was electrocuted on Thursday.
The victim was identified as Junric Niñal Heraldez, 25, junior lineman of Cebeco.
Police said the victim was working with Raynel Cano, senior lineman of Cebeco, in Barangay Bojo, Aloguinsan town.
Cano reminded Heraldez to keep away from dangling wires while he was checking lines connected to an electric post.
The victim, however, accidentally touched a live wire, and was electrocuted.
Heraldez was taken to the Aloguinsan Rural Health Center where he was declared dead.
