San Juan City wins big in Urban Governance Exemplar Awards 2025

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora proudly announced the city government's noteworthy achievements in the recently concluded Urban Governance Exemplar Awards 2025 spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) last Nov. 4.
Zamora explained the Urban Governance Exemplar Awards is the flagship awards program of DILG–NCR, established to recognize and celebrate the exemplary performance and outstanding execution of mandates by local government units (LGUs) in the region.
San Juan City received multiple distinctions for its outstanding performance during the ceremony:
• Certified Drug-Cleared City by the Regional Oversight Committee
• 2025 Local Legislative Awards – Exemplary Performance
• Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and VAWC (2025 Audit) – Top Performer
• Local Council for the Protection of Children (2024) – Ideal Functionality
• Significant Partner in Advancing a Safe, Secure, and Drug-Free NCR
• 2024 Manila Bay LGU Compliance Award – Compliant
"These recognitions are a testament to the hard work, unity, and dedication of all City Hall departments and every San Juaneño whose collective effort and cooperation continue to make San Juan a model of good governance and community excellence," Zamora said.
