The activity was led by Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, with over 3,500 students from the school’s morning classes taking part in the simulation.
The drill was organized in coordination with the Malabon Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Philippine Red Cross, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Malabon.
The initiative aims to strengthen preparedness among residents, especially students, by teaching them the proper actions to take in case of a major earthquake such as “The Big One.”
