Taguig police nab 2 top most wanted persons for murder, rape
Police successfully arrested two men tagged as most wanted persons for murder and qualified rape in Taguig on Nov. 4.
The first operation resulted in the arrest of alias Adonis, identified as the National Capital Region Police Office’s No. 2 most wanted person for November.
Police served him a non-bailable warrant of arrest for murder issued by Presiding Judge Jonathan Honorato Del Marlock of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 267.
The arrest was carried out by a tracker team of the Taguig police’s Intelligence Section. The accused was brought to the Taguig City Health Office for medical examination.
In a separate operation on the same day, police operatives of the Taguig police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section arrested alias Mark Anthony, listed as Taguig’s No. 6 most wanted person for qualified rape of a minor and qualified acts of lasciviousness.
The warrant of arrest with no bail recommended was issued on Nov. 3 by Presiding Judge Byron San Pedro of the Taguig Family Court Branch 15.
Col. Byron Allatog, officer-in-charge of the Taguig police, commended all operating teams,noting that the arrests reflect the Taguig Police’s unwavering commitment to the Philippine National Police’s intensified campaign against wanted persons.
