Security guard robbed of firearm while asleep in Malate condo

A security guard assigned to a condominium in Malate, Manila, was robbed of his service firearm while he was asleep inside the building.
The incident happened on early Monday morning, Nov. 3, around 3 a.m.
According to police, three suspects were involved in the theft.
One of them has already been arrested on Nov. 5, while the guard’s stolen firearm was later recovered after being buried under a tree.
Meanwhile, investigators are also looking into why the security guard was asleep while on duty when the incident happened.
Police are continuing their investigation to identify and locate the two remaining suspects.
