Man linked to illegal activities nabbed for illegal sale of firearms in Parañaque
The Southern Police District Special Operations Unit (SPD-SOU) arrested a man, an alleged known suspect in various criminal activities, during an entrapment operation in Parañaque City on Tuesday, Nov. 4, for selling firearms illegally.

The suspect, identified as "Ace," 41, was arrested at around 5:40 p.m. in Barangay San Antonio. He was arrested by combined police operatives from the SPD-SOU, District Intelligence Division (DID, SPD), the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB, SPD), and the Parañaque City Police.
Authorities confiscated one .45 caliber pistol with no serial number, magazine, cellular phone, gray sling bag where the firearm was placed, and boodle money.
They discovered that the suspect was involved in other criminal activities, such as theft and robbery-holdup incidents, and was previously arrested for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Act), PD 1602 (Illegal Gambling), and RA 9262 (Violence Against Women and Their Children Act).
SPD is now investigating to identify and arrest Ace's cohorts in the illegal sale of firearms.
He is now detained at the SPD custodial facility, was charged with violation of R.A. 10591 (Illegal Possession and Selling of Firearms).
