“Ang historical marker na ito ay magsisilbing pangmatagalang patunay sa ginampanang papel ng The Manila Bulletin sa paghubog sa kasaysayan ng ating bansa (This historical marker shall serve as a lasting testimony to the role of The Manila Bulletin in shaping our nation’s history),” Emilio said in his speech. May this serve as an inspiration to the next generations of journalists — that in every word they write, and in every news story they deliver and tell, they carry with them the legacy of honor and love for the nation).”
