The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has pledged fairness and transparency throughout the selection process at the 74th Miss Universe Competition, currently underway in Bangkok, Thailand.
This was reaffirmed by Raul Concha Cantu, President of the MUO, in a statement released on Nov. 3.
Raul said that the girls will be judged in four stages of evaluation: personal interview, national costume presentation, evening gown presentation, and swimsuit presentation.
"These are the only moments that will be considered by the official judges in determining the outcome of the competition," a part of the statement read.

It added, "No delegate will receive any form of preference or advantage outside of these four official categories. The integrity of this process is absolute and will be upheld with the utmost professionalism."
The statement followed earlier reports that there would be voting for the Top 10 candidates who will appear in a special dinner and talk show with Nawat Itsaragraisil, Vice President of the Eastern Regional Office for Miss Universe Asiana.
The MUO released a statement, saying that the special dinner and talk show events for the candidates are not authorized. However, the Miss Universe Thailand (MUT), to which Nawat is affiliated, defended the activities.
More than 120 delegates are vying for the title of 2025 Miss Universe. The grand finals will be held on Nov. 21. The full statement of the MUO:
