The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday, Nov. 4, raised its Code White Alert at the Central Office in response to the impact of Typhoon Tino, ensuring round-the-clock coordination and emergency medical response in affected regions.
“Itinaas ng DOH ang Code White Alert sa Central Office kaugnay ng pananalasa ng Bagyong Tino (The DOH raised the Code White Alert at its Central Office in response to the onslaught of Typhoon Tino),” the agency said.
According to the DOH, medicines, medical equipment, and emergency response teams have been prepared at its Operations Center for possible deployment to typhoon-hit regions.
The health department also assured that its Operations Center is monitoring the situation 24/7 to coordinate with regional offices and ensure timely medical support in disaster-hit areas.
“24/7 din ang monitoring ng DOH Operations Center para sa agarang pagtugon sa mga apektadong lugar (The DOH Operations Center is also on 24/7 monitoring to ensure immediate response in affected areas),” it said.
