The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) garnered a rating of 96.47 percent from the Anti-Red Tape Authority’s (ARTA) Report Card Survey (RCS), which the agency described a clear manifestation of the its competence in delivering efficient, accessible and people-centered public service.
In line with the provisions of Republic Act (RA) 11032 or “The Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018,’’ ARTA recognized DDB as highly compliant with the standards pursuant to the RCS.
“This recognition underscores the agency’s effective implementation of key components such as the Citizen’s Charter and Certificate of Compliance (CoC), Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), Initial Whole-of-Government Reengineering Plan, Zero Backlog Program, and Client Satisfaction Measurement Report, all of which demonstrate its dedication to streamlining processes and ensuring transparency and accountability in governance,’’ the DDB said.
The DDB also noted that the RCS serves as a holistic evaluation tool that quantitatively measures the actual perception of citizens and clients regarding the quality, efficiency, and responsiveness of services provided by government agencies nationwide.
Further, the DDB stressed that ARTA’s RCS is more than a technical analysis as it underwent the people’s true experience and scrutiny in the agency’s delivery of public service.
“Bawat puntos sa scorecard ay kumakatawan sa isang mamamayang napagsilbihan nang mas mabilis, natulungan nang mas maayos, at tinrato nang may malasakit at paggalang (Each grade in the scorecard represents that the people were rendered timely services, assisted more appropriately and treated with compassion and respect),’’ the DDB said.
