Makati gov't treats families to popular theme park on Thanksgiving Family Day
To make the opening of the Thanksgiving Family Day Celebration more memorable, the city’s Social Welfare Department recently brought Makati families to the Enchanted Kingdom to enjoy a fun-filled day and spend more quality time with their loved ones.
Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay joined attendees selected from various sectors, including daycare students, members of the 4Ps program, solo parents, street and urban working children, persons with disabilities, and MSWD clients, together with their families.
The local government said this was the first time the city celebrated Family Day at the theme park, and families were thrilled as they enjoyed the rides and attractions throughout the day.
It added that each family received P1,000 worth of consumable credits to enjoy food, souvenirs, and other offerings inside the park, making the experience even more memorable.
“Participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Ate Nancy Binay and the MSWD for giving them the opportunity to spend a memorable and fun-filled day with their loved ones,” it said.
Meanwhile, Enchanted Kingdom President and CEO Cesar Mario O. Mamon and his wife, Cynthia Mamon, warmly welcomed the city during the event.
The couple expressed their appreciation for hosting Makati’s first Thanksgiving Family Day celebration at Enchanted Kingdom.
Several city councilors also graced the celebration, such as Councilors Mayeth Casal-Uy, Bernadette Sese, Arlene Ortega, Ferdie Eusebio, Levy Ramboyong, King Yabut, Ina Sarosa, Maribel Vitales, and Joel Ariones.
The councilors extended their appreciation to the mayor for her continued support and initiatives for families in the city.
