Man arrested for possession of P150,000 shabu in Muntinlupa
Police seized P150,008 worth of shabu and arrested a man in Barangay Sucat in Muntinlupa on the eve of All Saints’ Day.
The Muntinlupa police identified the suspect as alias Pipoy, 35, a resident of the barangay. He was nabbed during the implementation of a search warrant issued on Oct. 30 by Vice Executive Judge Abraham Joseph Alcantara of the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 204.
The Southern Police District tagged the suspect as a street-level individual.
During the operation in Purok 2, Barangay Sucat, the police recovered 22.06 grams of shabu in nine plastic sachets.
The suspect will face a complaint for violation of Republic .Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
“The successful implementation of this search warrant highlights the Muntinlupa Police’s firm commitment to using all lawful means to identify and arrest Street Level Individuals engaged in the illegal drug trade,” said Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, SPD acting district director.
