Police arrested a 35-year-old man who was classified as a most wanted person for illegal drugs in Taguig on Oct. 30.
Alias Jomar, a resident of Barangay Lower Bicutan, was arrested for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The operation was conducted by operatives from the Southern Police District’s District Special Operation Unit, District Intelligence Division, Intelligence Section of the District Mobile Force Battalion, and the Warrant Section of the Taguig police.
He was apprehended based on two warrants of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Martessa Nuylan-Rodrigueza of the Iriga City Regional Trial Court Branch 37 on Feb. 27 last year.
No bail was recommended in one of the warrants of arrest while P200,000 bail was set for the other.
The arrested individual is under the custody of the SPD.
