Mayor Emi warns public vs spread of flu-like illnesses during Undas

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano reminded the public against the spread of Influenza-Like Illnesses (ILI) in places of convergence such as cemeteries this Undas.
She appealed to residents and visitors who will be visiting their departed loved ones in the city's cemeteries to practice the EMI Habit (Ensure to always wash your hands, Mask is a must, Implement physical distancing) to prevent the spread of diseases and viruses.
Rubiano made the statement during inspection of the Sarhento Mariano Cemetery in Aurora Boulevard, Pasay City, to ensure the preparedness of the city government and its concerned agencies for the peaceful and orderly observance of Undas.
The mayor said inter-agency outposts at the city's cemeteries under “Oplan Kaluluwa” are already in place in preparation for the influx of visitors.
Around 50,000 are expected to visit Sarhento Mariano Cemetery from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.
