The victories gave both Farm Fresh and PLDT identical 4-1 records, with the High Speed Hitters finishing on top of Pool A by virtue of a superior set ratio.
Belgian star Helen Rousseaux once again led the charge for the Foxies, erupting for 27 points built on 25 attacks and two blocks, while also tallying six excellent digs. Trisha Tubu added 17 points in support.
After dominating the first two sets, Farm Fresh weathered a third-set stumble and clawed back from a 21-23 deficit in the fourth. Rousseaux delivered back-to-back hits, and Rizza Cruz fired a booming ace to push the Foxies to match point, 24-23.
Cruz’s next serve went long, giving Choco Mucho a chance to extend the match, but Kat Tolentino’s service error proved costly. Rousseaux then sealed the deal with a decisive attack to secure the win for the Foxies.
PLDT, meanwhile, showed no mercy against Nxled, with Savi Davison and Anastasiia Bavykina scoring 19 and 10 points, respectively.
Despite another stellar performance from Paola Martinez, who finished with 29 points, the Chameleons remained winless at 0-5.
