P17-M shabu recovered in Lucena drug bust

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Police recovered suspected shabu valued at P17 million from a female drug pusher during a buy-bust operation on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 30, here.
Police Col. Romulo Albacea, Quezon police director, identified the suspect as Rica Joy, a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade.
Albacea said the Quezon Provincial Drug Enforcement confiscated 875 grams of shabu with a street value of P17.8 million in 36 heat-sealed transparent plastic bags and marked money from the suspect.
Suspect faces drug-related complaints.
