The Malabon City Government issued traffic and parking advisories on Thursday, Oct. 30, in preparation for the observance of Undas 2025, to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety around major cemeteries.
According to the city’s Public Information Office (PIO), a traffic rerouting scheme will be implemented from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 on key roads leading to cemeteries to manage the expected influx of vehicles and visitors.
Under the rerouting plan, all public utility jeepneys (PUJs) will take a left turn at Progreso Street, proceed right to Honradez Street, and turn right again to Inocencia/Prelaya Street.
Light vehicles heading toward C4/Sangandaan will pass through Plata Street, turn left at Aluminio Street, and right at Dr. Lascano Street toward C4 Road.
Vehicles bound for the Malabon Central Market are advised to take General Luna Street, turn left at Sacristia Street, and another left at F. Sevilla Street.
Motorists are reminded of no-entry zones at the following intersections:
- M.H. Del Pilar cor. Plata
- M.H. Del Pilar cor. Paz
- Plata cor. Bronze
- Plata cor. Acero
- Acero cor. Lascano
- Rizal Ave. cor. Manapat
- Rizal Ave. cor. General Luna
The city also designated parking areas near major cemeteries:
- Tugatog Cemetery: Bronze Street, M.H. Del Pilar (one-sided parking)
- Everlasting/Lourdes Cemetery: P. Aquino cor. Gumamela Street
- San Bartolome Cemetery: General Luna (side of Saint James), Rizal Avenue (side of Saint James), and F. Sevilla (side of Sports Complex)
The local government urged motorists and visitors to strictly follow traffic rules and parking guidelines to prevent congestion and ensure a safe and orderly observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days.
