POLICE deployed for 'Undas.' (Mike Crismundo)
CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police Regional Office-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Brig. Gen. Marcial Mariano P. Magistrado IV led the simultaneous send-off ceremony for policemen deployed to “Undas” in the Caraga region on Thursday, Oct. 30.
Deployed to keep the people safe were 310 personnel from Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (PPO), 176 from Agusan del Sur PPO, 516 from Surigao del Norte PPO, 307 from Surigao del Sur PPO, 150 from Dinagat Islands PPO, 318 from Butuan City Police Office, 58 from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion, 125 from the regional headquarters, 45 from the Regional Support Units, and 30 personnel from the Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSSF).
They will be stationed in cemeteries, transportation terminals, air and sea ports, places of worship, and other areas of convergence.
“Our presence in these areas is not just about maintaining order but also about ensuring that every Caraganon feels safe as they remember their departed loved ones,” Magistrado said.
Magistrado urged people to observe Undas peacefully and cooperate with the police.
