Dustin Yu, a former housemate from Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition, is undoubtedly one of the busiest young stars today. In addition to starring in two movies for the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival, Dustin is also a highly sought-after celebrity endorser. Alongside his acting career, he is actively involved in business ventures. Dustin acknowledges that, due to his hectic schedule, he hardly has any time to rest, but he is not complaining about it.

"Nakakapagpahinga pa ba ako? With all the work na dapat kong gawin after PBB, hindi na talaga ako masyado nakakapag-pahinga. Ang rest ko ngayon is yung kasama ko yung parents ko at siblings ko. Kahit isang oras lang sine-set aside ko muna yung trabaho. Kahit kulang ang tulog as long as kasama ko yung mga mahal ko sa buhay, happy ako. In a way nakakapag-rest na rin ako. (Do I still get to relax? With all the work I have to do after PBB, I don't really get to relax much anymore. My relaxation now is when I'm with my parents and siblings. Even if it's just for an hour, I set aside work. Even if I don't get enough sleep, as long as I'm with my loved ones, I'm happy. In a way, I can still relax)," said Dustin when asked if he still finds time to relax during the recent launch of his latest endorsement for Aromagicare held in Quezon City.

On his idea of relaxation, Dustin answered, "My idea of relaxation is going out of town. But because of the tight schedule, hindi ko siya mahanapan ng oras. Hilig ko talaga mag-travel. Excited na ako kasi meron kaming Balesin trip and feeling to ito ang magiging travel ko uli after PBB. (My idea of relaxation is going out of town. But because of the tight schedule, I can't find time to relax. I really love to travel. I'm already excited because we have a Balesin trip, and I feel like this will be my next trip after PBB.)"

When asked if he still has a love life because of his busy schedule, Dustin said, "Bakit? Feeling ko naman kahit busy, hindi naging hadlang ang love life. I'm not saying may lovelife ako or what. In fact, nakakabawas pa nga yan ng pagod. You will be inspired. So kahit na gaano ako ka-busy, importante pa rin pa paglaanan ng pagmamahal sa family and friends. (Why? I feel like even though I'm busy, my love life hasn't been a hindrance. I'm not saying I have a love life or anything. In fact, it actually reduces fatigue. You will be inspired. So no matter how busy I am, it's still important to provide love to family and friends.)"

At the launch, Dustin was welcomed by Pauline Publico and April Martin of Wide Entertainment.

Dustin, 24, also revealed that he's preparing for a solo fan meet dubbed "The Dustin Yu Experience," which will be staged at the New Frontier Theater in Araneta City on Dec. 4.

"Ang masasabi ko lang ay magiging faithful ako sa event na ito dahil lagi kong sinasabi na gusto kong ibalik sa mga supporters ko yung pasasalamat lalo na noong nasa loob pa ako ng Bahay ni Kuya. Para sa kanila ang event na ito. Mas makikita nila kung sino talaga si Dustin magperform. (All I can say is that I will be faithful to this event because I always say that I want to return the gratitude to my supporters, especially when I was still inside Kuya's House. This event is for them. They will see more of who Dustin really is when he performs)," the actor also said.

Describing his career now, Dustin said he's grateful for all the blessings. "Ang daming pumapasok na blessing na sobrang grateful ko lang. Pero ako hindi ko makakalimutan kung saan ako nanggaling. Ito na rin ang opportunity ko na ipakita sa kanila kung gaano ko talaga kagusto ang industry na pinasukan ko. Sana magtuloy tuloy ito. (There are so many blessings that come my way that I'm just so grateful for. But I can't forget where I came from. This is also my opportunity to show them how much I really love the industry I entered. I hope it continues.)"

Dustin took a moment to share his valuable insights with the new PBB housemates, offering them guidance and encouragement as they embarked on their exciting journey together.

"When I heard about it, I got excited because some of them are my friends and I have worked with them. Excited ako ma-experience nila ang Bahay Ni Kuya kasi hindi lahat nakakapasok doon. My advice is lagi ko itong sinasabi na maging totoo ka lang. Maging mabait ka rin at tatagan mo ang sarili mo. Hindi ito madali pero maganda naman ang kapalit niyang nga blessing. It's a challenging journey. Magpakatotoo ka lang. Kung sino ka talaga as a person, ipakita mo lang yun. Everything will follow. (When I heard about it, I got excited because some of them are my friends and I have worked with them. I'm excited for them to experience Bahay Ni Kuya because not everyone gets to go there. My advice is: just be true. Be kind and be strong for yourself. It's not easy, but the blessing in return is beautiful. It's a challenging journey. Just be true. Just show who you really are. Everything will follow.)"

Dustin revealed that he tends to spend a lot, but his management always advises him to be careful with his spending.

"Feeling ko kasi minsan pumapasok sa isip ko na deserve ko naman to treat myself. Hindi ko talaga alam hanggang kailan ko ito sasabihin pero magtitipid na rin talaga ako. (I think sometimes it crosses my mind that I deserve to treat myself. I don't know how long I'll keep saying this, but I'm definitely going to save up)," he said.

On his Christmas wish, Dustin said, "I'd be straight to the point, gusto ko ng magkabahay. Yun lang ang Christmas wish ko. Gusto ko ng magkaroon ng sariling bahay. (I want to have a house. That's my only Christmas wish. I want to have my own house.)"
