Hotel Okura Manila at Newport World Resorts will bring together the best of Japanese culinary craftsmanship with SAGA: A Wagyu Tasting Journey, an exclusive dining event set from November 10 to 12, 2025, at Yawaragi Restaurant.
The event will feature a rare eight-hands collaboration among four renowned chefs whose mastery reflects the artistry of Japanese cuisine. Executive Chef Minoru Takashima of Hotel Nikko Osaka will lead the experience alongside Japanese Executive Chef Keiichiro Fujino of Hotel Okura Manila, Specialty Sushi Chef Ikuma Sato of Yamazato, and Specialty Teppan Chef Katsuji Kato of Yamazato.
The chefs will present a multi-course menu that celebrates the exceptional quality and delicate marbling of Saga Wagyu, regarded as one of Japan’s finest beef varieties. Each dish will highlight the purity of ingredients and the balance central to Japanese culinary tradition while showcasing the chefs’ distinctive techniques and philosophies.
