Two choppers, private jet linked to Zaldy Co out of PH, CAAP says
Two helicopters and a private jet allegedly owned by former party-list congressman Zaldy Co were already out of the country, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) confirmed on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
In a statement, CAAP Director General Raul Del Rosario said the two AgustaWestland helicopters were monitored to be in Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia while the Gulfstream aircraft is in Singapore.
The three aircraft left the country in August this year, or approximately the start of the investigations into the flood control projects.
Co was accused of being involved in multi-billion peso worth of kickbacks in substandard and ghost flood control porjects.
He has bene out of the country since the flood control probe began.
