Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso encouraged young Filipino-Chinese entrepreneurs to continue investing and growing their businesses in the city, assuring them of Manila’s commitment to a safe and business-friendly environment.
“Please continue doing business. May awa ang Diyos, magbubuti kami (with God’s mercy, things will get better),” Domagoso said during the ANVIL Exchange Forum held at the Manila Hotel on Oct. 28.
The mayor expressed his gratitude to members of the Association of Young Filipino-Chinese Entrepreneurs (AYFCE), now known as the Anvil Business Club, for their continued confidence in Manila, many of whom are second- and third-generation business owners continuing the legacy of their fathers and grandfathers.
Domagoso emphasized that the local government remains focused on ensuring peace, order, and economic stability, noting that a thriving business sector means more job opportunities for Manileños and a stronger local economy.
He also urged taxpayers to take advantage of the early payment discount for real property taxes.
