Man fatally shoots 2 neighbors in Albay

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – A 43-year-old man fatally shot two female neighbors in Barangay San Roque, Tabaco City, Albay province on Tuesday night, Oct. 28.
Police identified the victims as Daisy, 30, married, and Nerissa, 35, single.
Investigation said the suspect Luis, 43, and a neighbor were drinking at the house of Luis’ sibling when he invited him to buy illegal drugs from Daisy, who was also drinking nearby.
The suspect was irked when Daisy refused to sell and walked away.
Luis retrieved a firearm and shot Daisy and Nerissa in an alley.
The victims were taken to a hospital where they were declared dead.
Luis fled and a manhunt is ongoing against him.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
