D&L's good governance cited by ICD for 6 years in a row

D&L Industries Inc. has been recognized by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) for the sixth consecutive year for its exemplary corporate governance practices based on the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS).
The firm said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) that this year, it received three Golden Arrow awards—an improvement from last year’s two-arrow recognition.
Golden Arrow Awards recognize publicly listed companies that have achieved high scores in the ACGS assessment, reflecting their adherence to the principles of good corporate governance.
ACGS measures company performance in key areas such as facilitating the rights and equitable treatment of shareholders, promoting sustainability and resilience, fostering strong stakeholder relations, ensuring transparency and accountability through timely disclosure of material information, and providing effective board leadership and oversight.
ICD is a non-stock, not-for-profit national association of corporate directors and other stakeholders engaged in corporate governance. Its mission is to champion good corporate governance and stewardship for the benefit of society.
It aims to be the key catalyst in the Philippine corporate governance ecosystem for inclusive and sustainable development.
“We are deeply honored to receive three Golden Arrows this year,” said D&L President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Alvin Lao.
He noted that, “From our initial one-arrow recognition, to two arrows last year, and now three, this steady progression reflects our unwavering commitment to continuously elevate our corporate governance practices.
“At D&L, we view good governance as the cornerstone of sustainable growth and an essential part of how we create lasting value for our stakeholders.”
D&L Industries is a Filipino company engaged in product customization and specialization for the food, chemicals, plastics, and consumer products original design manufacturer (ODM) industries.
The company’s principal business activities include manufacturing of customized food ingredients, specialty raw materials for plastics, and oleochemicals for personal and home care use.
Established in 1963, D&L has the largest market share in each of the industries it serves, as well as long-standing customer relationships with the Philippines’ leading consumer and manufacturing companies.
