San Juan City hailed for outstanding fiscal performance by DOF

The Department of Finance – Bureau of Local Government Finance (DOF-BLGF) recognized the San Juan City government for its outstanding performance for Fiscal Year (FY) 2024, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora announced on Sunday, Oct. 26.

Zamora said the city was cited as one of the top-performing Local Government Units (LGUs) in the Philippines for Fiscal Year 2024 after achieving the following recognitions:

1. Top 2 in total current operating expenditures per capita for FY 2024 among all cities in the country

2. Top 5 in locally sourced revenues to total current operating income amongst all cities in the country

3. Top 7 in year-on-year growth in locally sourced revenues from FY 2023 to FY 2024 amongst all highly urbanized cities in the country

"Thank you to our City Hall departments and offices for their dedication and hard work, and to all San Juaneños for your continued trust and support in our Makabagong San Juan Administration," the mayor said.
