The Manila Police District (MPD) has announced several road closures and rerouting schemes in key areas of Manila in preparation for Undas 2025 (All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days).

The traffic adjustments will take effect from 10 p.m. on Oct. 30 until 7 p.m. on Nov. 3, to manage the expected influx of motorists and visitors heading to the Manila North Cemetery and nearby memorial parks.
Road Closures
The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic during the said period:
Stretch of Blumentritt Street from A. Bonifacio Avenue to Aurora Boulevard
Stretch of Dimasalang Street from Retiro Street to Calavite Street
Stretch of Maceda Street from Makiling Street to Dimasalang Street
Southbound lane of Dimasalang Bridge
Aurora Boulevard from Felix Huertas Road to Matandang Sora (Chinese Cemetery South Gate)
Rerouting of Vehicles
To ease congestion and maintain smooth traffic flow, the following rerouting schemes will be implemented:
Vehicles from Dimasalang Road intending to use Blumentritt Road shall turn right to Makiling Street toward their destination.
Vehicles from Quezon City utilizing A. Bonifacio Avenue shall turn left to Labo Street toward their destination.
Vehicles from Maceda Street intending to access Dimasalang or Retiro Streets shall turn right to Makiling Street toward their destination.
Designated Parking Areas
Motorists visiting the Manila North and Chinese Cemeteries may park their vehicles in the following designated areas:
P. Guevarra Street from Blumentritt Road to Aurora Boulevard
Felix Huertas Street from Blumentritt Road to Aurora Boulevard
Oroquieta Street from Blumentritt Road to Aurora Boulevard
The MPD Traffic Enforcement Unit advised motorists to observe the traffic signs and follow the directions of traffic marshals assigned in the area. Motorists are also encouraged to plan their trips early and take alternate routes to avoid congestion.
This advisory forms part of the city’s comprehensive traffic management plan to ensure the safe and orderly observance of Undas 2025, when thousands of visitors are expected to visit cemeteries across Manila.
