BACOLOD CITY – SM City Bacolod unveiled this year’s Christmas display with the theme “Unwrapping Sweet Surprises” on Sunday, Oct. 26.
Mall manager Julia Javellana and Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson unveiled a 50-foot Christmas tree, a pastel sweet scape surrounded by giant, delectable desserts.
“As we light this year’s Christmas tree, may it move us not just to spread, but to intently pursue kindness, peace, and goodwill in our homes and communities,” Lacson said.
Performing in the ceremony were ballet performances by the Garcia-Sanchez School of Dance, a song from SM Little Stars regional finalist Rhynz Jerell Apellido, and appearances by Holi Squad, the Pastel Dream Ladies, and Santa Claus.
