AFTER three emotionally charged, jam-packed performances in California and Texas, multi-awarded Filipino music icon Gary Valenciano continues his “Gary V: Inspired 2025 US Tour” with two more major stops: Honolulu, Hawaii, on Oct. 26 and Charlotte, North Carolina, on Nov. 2.

The first leg of the tour was wrapped up with standing ovations, nonstop tears, and ecstatic fan selfies as Gary V delivered more than just music — he delivered healing, nostalgia, and unfiltered joy.

On Oct. 12, approximately  3,000 fans packed the Pechanga Summit in Temecula, California.

Notable guests included Donita Rose and Felson Palad, music director Troy Laureta, Don Griffin, and StarMedia CEO Anna Puno among many others.

A powerful  duet with Gab Valenciano, “Babalik Ka Rin” brought the house down. The younger Valenciano’s vocals surprised even his own father as the dance champion is well known for his terpsichorean skills.

Upon release of concert tickets for the Cache Creek event, they were sold out within 36 hours.

“We wanted a second show but couldn’t match schedules,” says venue head Zeke Perez. According to the management of the Northern California venue, Gary outsold every foreign and local act in their facility in 2022 across tickets, F&B sales, booked hotel rooms, etc.

Fans witnessed Gary serenade “How Did You Know” to a thrilled composer, Cecile Azarcon-Inocentes, who wrote the song. Also seen in the crowd was Gary’s music director during his Kundirana days, Mike Chio.

On Oct. 19, Gary made history as the first Filipino artist to headline the prestigious CFISD Visual & Performing Arts Center in Houston, Texas. He brought in music director Mon Faustino and musicians drummer Junjun Regalado, bass player Ritchie Ramos, second keyboardist Noel Lopez, lead guitarist Vinny Valenciano and vocalists Alyssa Quijano and Elke Saison- Ortiz.

The crowd?

Wild.

The set?

Over 2.5 hours of non-stop Gary V magic.

Kiana V opened with her composition “Safe Place” and stunned the audience with her rendition of the classic “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

The trio medley with her father and music Mon Faustino featuring 80s movie classics — “Each Passing Night,” “Reaching Out,” “Narito,” and “Sana Maulit Muli” — was a multi-generational moment of pride and musical excellence.

The “Inspired” concert tour is serving more than just music — it’s also a visual and emotional journey.

Each show features cinematic visuals crafted by visionary director Paolo Valenciano together with the late GA Fallarme, longtime graphic visual director for Gary V’s “Pure Energy” shows. Cherie Gil’s son, powerhouse sound engineer Jay Eigenman, flew in from New York for the tour. A dance crew led by Lianna and Gio Martinez, who were part of the dance champion group, LSDC, joined the entourage.

The multimedia experience synchronized live performances with vintage concert footage from Araneta Coliseum, SM MOA Arena, and the Music Museum, among other venues, showcasing Gary’s 42-year legacy.

From dancefloor favorites like “Shout for Joy” to soul-touching rarely-sung recordings of Gary V like “Home,” “Love in Any Language,” “When I Hear You Call,” and “As You Are,” Gary V proves he can still move bodies — and hearts.

Don’t miss out on Gary V’s last two stops in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Oct. 26, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, where the Aloha spirit merges with inspiration in an unforgettable night of superb music at the heart of the island. In this concert, both Kiana and Gab Valenciano will join their dad for the first time.

And in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Nov. 2, 2025, at Dale Halton Theater — a historic North Carolina debut for Gary V and a milestone moment for the legendary artist that shouldn’t be missed.

Be inspired and follow Gary V on his official socials to enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes content, fan selfies, and daily testimonies from those who the music has moved.

This isn’t just another tour.

It’s a heart-to-heart journey with the icon who continues to inspire generations.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or just newly charged by Gary V’s pure energy.

This is an open invitation to his American fans!

“Inspired” is not just a concert. It’s a calling to live life to the fullest through the transformative power of music that inspires. (Contributed by Chuck Gomez)
