GONZALEZ
CAMP AQUINO, Tarlac City – Philippine Air Force Lt. Gen. Aristotle D. Gonzalez is the new commander of the Armed Forces Northern Luzon Command (Nolcom).
Gonzalez took over from acting commander Army Brig. Gen. Cesar A. Molina, deputy commander of Nolcom, during a change of command ceremony in this camp on Friday.
Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr., Armed Forces chief of staff, presided over the event.
Brawner also administered the donning of rank of Gonzalez, the 35th commander of Nolcom, as lieutenant general.
Gonzalez was chief of air staff on Feb. 19, 2024, 72nd vice commander of the PAF from Nov. 6, 2024, to Oct. 16, 2025, commander of the Tactical Operations Wing Northern Luzon, the 15th Strike Wing, and the Air Education, Training, and Doctrine Command.
Gonzalez vowed to strengthen the command’s operational readiness, interagency coordination, and support national development efforts in line with the Armed Forces’ vision of a strong, capable, and responsive defense force.
