Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto proves that his skills go beyond good governance, showing off his athletic side on the basketball court—leaving netizens asking, “What else can’t he do?”

Sotto showed that he is not just a good leader but a good shooter too, which amused netizens after he posted a video of his impressive shooting during the inauguration of a new court and playground in Barangay Pineda.

In the clip, Sotto was seen mingling with residents after making a long-distance three-pointer and a ringless shot that impressed many.

It prompted many netizens to ask, “What else can’t he do?” to which others jokingly replied, “magnakaw sa kaban ng bayan (To steal from public funds).”

Others also said, “Mayor na abot-kamay ng mga nasasakupan niya (A mayor who’s truly close to his constituents),” “Hindi lang magaling na mayor, magaling din sa sport (Not just a great mayor, a great player too!),” and “No one is perfect, but you're the closest to being perfect. Such an ideal man,” among others.

This was not the first time Sotto showed his basketball skills. On several occasions during barangay visits, he was also seen shooting long-range shots on the court, something that Pasigueños and other residents truly admired.

Whether it’s city work or on the basketball court, Sotto knows how to take the shot and make it count, proving that focus and execution make a difference both in the game and in good governance.
