A new chapter for a heritage favorite
Lido Cocina Tsina opens refreshed Fairview branch with modern interiors and classic flavors
By MBrand
Lido Cocina Tsina, a beloved name in Filipino-Chinese dining since 1936, has unveiled its refreshed look and branding with the opening of its newest branch in Fairview, Quezon City.
Located along Quirino Highway in Lagro, the restaurant marks a significant milestone in Lido’s modernization journey, introducing a brighter and more contemporary aesthetic while staying true to its culinary roots. The new space features warm wood tones, minimalist textures, and natural lighting that lend a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
The launch event was led by business partners Benigno Franco and Ma. Pilita Dalisay, joined by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Lido President Annie Wong, and Councilor Jefferson Lao. Guests were treated to a festive lion dance and exclusive giveaways, celebrating both the brand’s long-standing heritage and its exciting new era.
“This new branch is more than just a new look; it’s our promise to serve generations of families with the same heart and quality that Lido has been known for,” said Annie Wong, president of Lido Cocina Tsina. “We’re thrilled to open in Fairview — a vibrant community that shares our love for gatherings and good food.”
Modern setting, timeless flavors
While the interiors embrace a modern sensibility, the kitchen continues to honor Lido’s legacy dishes. At the center is the Pugon-Roasted Asado, slow-cooked to perfection in a brick oven that gives the meat its signature smoky flavor and caramelized glaze. The dish now also comes in a bold new variant, Asado in Salt & Pepper, catering to diners looking for a contemporary twist.
Other highlights include the 8-Spice Ginger Chicken, Radish Cake in XO Sauce, Manchurian Wings, and Shrimp Foo-Yong — all prepared without MSG and served with the same consistency that has earned the restaurant generations of loyal patrons.
Designed as an everyday dining spot, the new Lido Fairview caters to early risers and professionals alike with its specialty siphon-brewed coffee, perfect for morning meetups or relaxed weekends. Families and groups can also gather over hearty Chinese classics in a space that balances nostalgia and modern comfort.
With its Fairview opening, Lido Cocina Tsina strengthens its place as a culinary institution that continues to evolve while preserving the warmth and familiarity that diners have cherished for nearly nine decades.
