BAGUIO CITY – A popular mall here lighted a 35-foot Christmas tree on Friday to usher in the holiday season.
The University of Baguio Chorale serenaded and the Baguio Ballet and Axis Dance Group performed during the unveiling at SM City Baguio.
The centerpiece tree is dressed in sparkling red and gold ornaments, twinkling lights, and crowned with a brilliant golden star and surrounded with elegant arches wrapped in lush greenery and vibrant red ribbons, adorned with giant bows, golden baubles, and beautifully wrapped gift boxes.
Mall manager Phillip Daysac said that they will hold fun activities for the Yuletide season.
The tree will be up until Jan. 6, the Feast of Three Kings.
Meanwhile, Jansen Pe, SM Supermalls senior assistant vice president, said the Christmas tree at SM City Ilocos Norte will be unveiled on Oct. 28, followed by SM City La Union in San Fernando City next month.
