Farmer stabbed dead; vendor gunned down

SAN NARCISO, Quezon – A 22-year-old farmer was stabbed to death and his companion was injured while walking in Barangay Pagdadamayan here on Thursday night.
Police identified the victim as Gerald.
Investigation said Gerald and Christian, 22, were walking when a man onboard a motorcycle arrived.
The suspect suddenly stabbed them with a fan knife and fled.
Gerald was declared dead on arrival in a medical facility due to a stab wound in the neck.
Meanwhile, a 48-year-old vendor was shot dead on her way home Thursday in Barangay Manggalang 1, Sariaya, this province.
The victim Salie was riding her bicycle when she was killed.
A barangay official said the victim was a suspected drug pusher.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing on both cases.
