Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo delivered the first medal for the Philippines after winning bronze in the men's floor exercise finals of the 2025 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships Friday, Oct. 24, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The 25-year-old Yulo flashed his brilliance and registered 14.533 points off 8.633 in execution and 5.900 in difficult to cop the bronze in his pet event where he is the reigning Olympic champion and was also the 2019 king of the same division.
Great Britain topped the podium with Jake Jarman (14.866), who has a Filipino descent, and Luke Whitehouse (14.666) bagging the gold and silver medals, respectively.
